Mahindra & Mahindra sets a new record by registering a whopping 50% increase in their total tractor sales for January 2021. The company sold 34,778 tractors. They had sold 23,116 tractors in January 2020.

Domestic sales in the month of January stood at 33,562 units as compared to 22,329 units during the same month of last year (2020). The company registered a 55% growth this year in the exports market, with 1216 tractor units sold.

The President of Farm Equipment Sector of the company, Hemant Sikka, reports that there is a high demand of tractors in the market due to widening of the Rabi acreage, timely Kharif procurement, increased cash flows to farmers, and high reservoir levels.

According to him, the demand is anticipated to stay strong due to these factors.
