MCC NEET Counselling 2019: Notice Issued for Students Applying under NRI Quota; Check Important Documents Required

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently published a notice for students applying for admission in medical or dental colleges under the NRI (Non-Resident Indian) category. These candidates should submit documents supporting their claim of change of nationality from Indian to NRI through email.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently published a notice for students applying for admission in medical or dental colleges under the NRI (Non-Resident Indian) category. These candidates should submit documents supporting their claim of change of nationality from Indian to NRI through email. 

Interested candidates must note that, the last date to submit the proof is today i.e. July 11, 2019. Candidates have to send an email at the official id, nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com till July 11, 1 pm (Thursday). 

It is to be noted that, after the last date, no email will be considered and candidates might have to apply under regular or unreserved category. Adding to it, the MCC has released a list of documents that one needs to submit for the same. 

What are the documents needed for MCC NEET foreign quota? 

  • Passport

  • Visa of sponsor

  • Relationship of NRI with the candidate

  • Affidavit from the sponsor that s/he will sponsor the candidate for the entire course

  • Embassy certificate of sponsor

  • Certificate from the consulate

  • NEET scorecard of candidates

Though, the first round of NEET counselling is finished and the dates of the second round for NEET counselling have been revised. The registration for the second round will start from July 11 (Thursday), 2019.  

The result for which will be declared on July 18, 2019. The final mop-up round will then start from August 13, 2019.

Step 1: Tap on the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. 

Step 2: On the home page, under the news/events section, click on NRI notification generated a link. 

Step 3: A PDF will come up 

Step 4: Candidates must download it and take a print out of it for future references.
