Krishi Jagran commences the MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh today. This one-day agricultural event has been organized with the primary objective of 'Maximizing Farmers' Income for a Prosperous Bharat'. The event promises a rich tapestry of insights, as experts are to share their knowledge on crucial topics such as 'Disease & Pest Management in Rice Crop', 'Innovation in Tractor Industry', 'Tractor Management', and 'Millets Farming'.
This insightful Kisan Utsav is being hosted at the Barrister Thakur Chhedilal College of Agriculture, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, providing a conducive environment for farmers to gather knowledge and exchange ideas.
Farmer First
More than 100 farmers gathered at the event and underlining the significant impact of Krishi Jagran’s initiative 'Farmer First’, where major priority is given to the welfare and importance of farmers, a dedicated farmer graced the stage to inaugurate the event.
Distinguished Personalities
Dr RKS Tiwari, Dean of BTS College of Agriculture in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, lent his expertise to the event, joined by the esteemed Dr Arun Kumar Tripathi, Senior Scientist & Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Bilaspur. The presence of Madho Singh, President of Krishak Mitra Sangh, Bilaspur, added a valuable perspective, while the event benefited from the insights of Dr Girish Chandel, the Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidhyalaya in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Manoj Chauhan, Joint Director of the Agriculture Department in Bilaspur, also graced the occasion, collectively sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience.

The event unfolded as farmers immersed themselves in exploring the exhibits presented by Mahindra Tractors. Beyond the machinery displays, numerous farmers and service providers seized the opportunity to showcase their diverse produce and offerings, contributing to the event's vibrancy.
A pivotal moment arrived as the event drew to a close, where the deserving farmers were felicitated with the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards. This recognition not only celebrated their agricultural accomplishments but also served as a powerful acknowledgment of their dedication and contribution to the farming landscape.
