On August 12, 2024, Krishi Jagran organized the MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav 2024 in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar. This event, held in collaboration with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sabour, and Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, was sponsored by Mahindra Tractors and supported by Somani Seedz and JCB. The event's theme, "Maximizing Farmers' Income for a Prosperous India," was centered on connecting farmers with the latest agricultural practices and innovations.

The event witnessed the participation of over 250 farmers who were eager to learn about new technologies and advancements in agriculture. The MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav 2024 was graced by several notable guests, including Anil Kumar Pandav, District Agricultural Officer (JDA) Bhagalpur, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sabour, Dr. R.N. Singh, Associate Director of Extension Education, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Director of Research, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Dr. R.K. Sohane, Director of Extension Education, Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, and Dr. Ajay Kumar Sah, Dean (Agriculture), Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour. The event was organized under the patronage of Dr. D.R. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Bihar Agricultural University, who, due to unforeseen circumstances, could not attend. In his absence, Dr. A.K. Singh, Director of Research at Bihar Agricultural University, extended his best wishes for the success of the event.

Exhibitions by Mahindra Tractors, JCB, and Somani Seedz

Mahindra Tractors showcased its latest range of technologically advanced tractors at the event. The company’s stall attracted significant attention from farmers, who were keen to learn about the new tractors' features and pricing. The exhibition provided farmers with an opportunity to interact with Mahindra’s representatives and gain insights into the benefits of using modern machinery in their agricultural practices.

In addition to Mahindra Tractors, Somani Seedz and JCB also set up exhibitions showcasing their latest products.
