MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav Triumphs in Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh

More than 200 farmers gathered at the event in Chhattisgarh

Krishi Jagran successfully organised the MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav on January 18, 2024, at Dau Kalyan Singh College of Agriculture & Research Station in Alesur, Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh. The event, supported by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhatapara, aimed to enhance farmers' income for a prosperous Bharat. More than 200 farmers actively participated in the event, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and networking.

Progressive Farmers 

The event commenced with the inspiring success story of the Millionaire Farmer of India Awardee, Rupendra Sahu from Dhabadih village. His achievements set the tone for the event, showcasing the potential for success in agriculture. Following this, progressive farmers Rupesh Mishra and Tuleshwari Sahu shared their experiences, adding valuable insights for fellow farmers.

Dr Narendra Singh, Deputy Director of Veterinary Science, Baloda Bazar, delivered crucial information about the importance and process of animal vaccination. His insights provided farmers with the essential knowledge to ensure the health and well-being of their livestock.

Experts Sharing Insights

Ramakant Dwivedi, Senior Area Manager, Raipur, Mahindra Tractors, graced the event and discussed innovations in the tractor industry and maintenance practices. He presented various models of Mahindra Tractors, offering farmers a firsthand look at the latest advancements. Mr Dwivedi expressed gratitude to Krishi Jagran for creating a platform that facilitates the exchange of expertise and fosters networking opportunities between experts and farmers.

Dr Angad Rajput, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Bhatapara, took the stage to enlighten the audience about millet farming that can make a way for nutritious agricultural practice. He aimed to encourage farmers to diversify their crops and explore new possibilities. Deepak Naik, Deputy Director, Agriculture Department, Baloda Bazar, shed light on the various government schemes offered by the Agriculture Department. This information was crucial for farmers to take advantage of government initiatives and support for their agricultural endeavors.
