NABARD Issues Statement to Dispel Misinformation Regarding ‘Dairy Loan Yojana’
NABARD has denied the false claims circulating regarding its involvement in directly providing loans to farmers for dairy farming ventures through the Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme.
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) states to address the recent misinformation circulating about the NABARD Dairy Loan Yojana. A series of false claims suggest that NABARD is directly providing loans to farmers for dairy farming ventures under their Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme. NABARD, categorically and unequivocally states that these assertions are fake.
NABARD, as an apex development finance institution, functions by extending financial assistance and support to various financial institutions and cooperatives involved in rural development. It does not extend loans directly to individual farmers.
