No. of Vacancy:  17 (1 each NHB centers at, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad Jammu/Srinagar, Kolkata, Nasik, Pune, Vijayawada, Bhopal, Gwalior, Bhubneswar, Dehradun, Nagpur, Patna" Raipur, Ranchi)

Age

Not more than 35 years as of age as on last date of receipt of application.

NHB Recruitment 2022: How to Apply

The applications in the prescribed format and complete in all respect duly signed by the applicant should be submitted online to the Managing Director, National Horticulture Board, Plot 85, Sector 18, Institutional Area, Gurugram (Haryana) Pin 122015 latest by 5:00 P.M., on or before the last date. Any application received after the last date will not be entertained.

The application should be submitted with the following documents duly self-attested by the applicant.

  • Copy of degree and mark sheet in respect of educational qualification indicated in the Performa.

  •  Copy of experience certificate if any.

  • Copy of PAN Card and Aadhar card - mandatory

NHB Recruitment 2022: Salary

There will be a set monthly salary of 50,000/- (only 50,000). There won't be any changes to the amount of remuneration that has been set over the contract's term and there shall be no yearly increase or percentage increase over the course of the contract. The chosen applicant will not be eligible for any benefits such as PF, pension, gratuity, medical assistance, house rent assistance, dearness assistance, transportation assistance, or any other advantages.

No TA/DA is acceptable when beginning the task or after it has been finished.

Post Education Qualification

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture with Post Graduation in Horticulture/Post-Harvest Technology/Agriculture Economics/Agriculture Engineering/Post harvest Management /Food Technology/Food Sciences from the recognized University.

Or

  • Graduate in Horticulture/Agriculture with MBA in Agribusiness.

  • Candidates should have proficiency in handling Computers (MS Office, PowerPoints, Excel, etc.)

Desirable:

Post-qualification experience in the relevant field as prescribed in the job description below.

Work Experience:

  1. Minimum of one year of work experience relevant to the job description.

  2. People with professional experience in the sector who can cite published work, policy papers, appraisals, monitoring of projects and programmes, etc., will be given preference.

Young Professionals: Job description & Scope of Duties

Young Professionals (YPs) will be required to follow up daily progress of the State/ Cluster Development Programme (CDP) at their respective State/Cluster level so that this vital programme can be implemented successfully with proper follow-up and monitoring. The candidate will also need to report concerned centre In-charge of NHB or the concerned officer at NHB, HQ, Gurugram to assist in the implementation of other schemes and programmes of the Board. This would require demonstration of proven academic credentials, professional achievements and leadership qualities on the part of the aspirants.
