Nursery Admission 2023: Registration Process for Admission to Nursery, Kindergarten & Class 1 to Start on Dec 15
The Directorate of Education of the Delhi government has stated that December 23 is the final day to apply for admission.
Delhi Nursery Admissions 2023: The registration procedure for admission to entry-level classes i.e., nursery, kindergarten and Class 1 — for the next academic year in private schools across Delhi will start from Thursday (December 15), the AAP government said on Tuesday.
Over 1,800 private schools began registration for nursery admissions on December 1, 2022. The Directorate of Education of the Delhi government has stated that December 23 is the final day to apply for admission.
A departmental announcement states that the second list of candidates shortlisted for admission will be posted on February 6 and that the first list of students chosen for admission and the waitlist will be released on January 20.
"No deviation from the above schedule shall be authorized," the circular stated. The above admission schedule must be posted on each school's notice board and website. Additionally, every institution must make sure that all applicants have access to admission application forms up until the deadline for submission.
The notification stated that a non-refundable amount of Rs 25 will be charged as an admission registration fee. It was mandated that 25% of seats be set aside in all private schools for students from disadvantaged groups, economically challenged sections, and children with disabilities.
The draw of lots will be recorded on camera, and the schools have been told to keep and store the recording. Before being placed in the box used to draw the lots, the slips will be displayed to the parents.
Nursery Admission 2023: Documents Needed
The following list of important components is required at the time of admission:
Parents or guardians can present any of the following documents as proof of residence:

In the parents' name, a ration card or smart card is issued (either mother or father with the child's name in it).

certificate of residence for the youngster or his parents.

mother's or father's voter ID card.

utility bill, water bill, phone bill, or passport in parents' names.

Aadhaar or the parents' UlD cards.
For the sibling requirement, numerous Delhi institutions need the tuition fee receipt or any other legitimate school record of the sibling enrolled in that particular school.
For alumni criteria, schools require documentation proving that an alumnus graduated from the institution in the Class of 10th or 12th.
