First Expo Organic North East 2023 Organized by Govt of Assam & SIMFED Kickstarts in Guwahati Today

With a focus on the North East, the International Conference & Exhibition for the Organic Sector at Expo One aims to disseminate knowledge about organic farming, cutting-edge breakthroughs, possible applications for digitization, and cutting-edge technologies.

The First Expo Organic North East 2023 kickstarted today in Khanapara, Guwahati, and will go on till February 5, 2023. The Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER) is in charge of organizing the expo.

The main goal f the expo is to increase awareness of the North Eastern Region as a hub for organic and natural products on a national and international scale. It aims to increase public knowledge of the advantages of organic farming in the northeast. According to reports, more than 43 organic farmers from Manipur have traveled outside of the nation's capital to take part in the expo.

Project Director of MOVCDNER K Debdutta Sharma stated that the Expo Organic North East, which is being held for the first time in the region, would feature a variety of organic products that have been correctly processed and created by the organic farmer's producer companies’ units of Northeastern States.

With a focus on the North East, the International Conference & Exhibition for the Organic Sector at Expo One aims to disseminate knowledge about organic farming, cutting-edge breakthroughs, possible applications for digitization, and cutting-edge technologies. The organic expo will draw more than 250 people.
