The Oil and Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Assam asset welcomes competent and experienced retired ONGC workers from Central Workshop, Sivasagar, electrical and mechanical disciplines for junior consultants posts on a contractual basis for a one-year period.

Vacancy Details

Name of the Post- Junior Consultant

Age Limit- Within 65 Years (as on the last date of receipt of application i.e. 24.07.2022)

Experience- Retired ONGC Executives at E1 to E3 Level with at least 15 years of experience in Central Workshop, Sivasagar.

Remuneration/Emolument: For Junior Consultants Up to E3): Total remuneration Rs.40,000/- pm or Rs. 4,80,000 per year (inclusive of all) + Rs.2000/- (Maximum) for Communication facilities against the submission of invoice.

  • Eligible candidate(s) can also submit the hardcopy in Person in the Service Contract Cell of CWS, Srivasagar.

Note- The last date of receipt of the application is 24th July 2022.

Roles and Responsibilities During Tenure

  • The Junior Consultant is in charge of thorough supervision and direction in all operations related to capital and specific repair of oil field equipment.

  • Thorough monitoring of all activities in the shop to ensure they are in safe operating condition and in accordance with ONGC's current QHSE rules.

  • Inspection, monitoring, and information exchange in the shop for different day-to-day operations, as well as seamless job execution in collaboration with the Operation Manager/Shop In Charge.

  • Keeping daily activity reports and reporting them to the Operations Manager / Shop In Charge.
