The last date for applying for these posts is 30 September 2021. Candidates selected for Assistant Horticulture Officer post will get the pre-revised scale of pay Rs 9,300 – 34800 with grade pay of Rs 4600/- or Level 10 of the pay matrix Revised as per ORSP rules 2017. This is one of the best government jobs for Agriculture graduates.
Eligibility:

The candidate must be a citizen of India.

The candidate must be able to read, write & speak Odia.

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture from any of the recognized Universities or Institutions.
Examination fee:
General: Rs 500/-
SC/ST/PwD: Nil
Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written tests & Interviews.
Written Test: it will be MCQ based paper of 200 Marks with each question carrying one mark each. 0.25 Marks will be deducted for each wrongly answered question.
Interview: it shall consist of 25 Marks.
Place of Examination:
The Written Examination for the post of Assistant Horticulture Officers shall be held at Cuttack & Bhubaneshwar, depending upon the number of Candidates applied.

The online application form available on the website is automated & it will guide the candidates to fill the application.

Candidates will have to upload the scanned image of latest Passport size photograph along with signature & scanned image Left hand – thumb impression in the online application.

On successful submission of the online application, a unique Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN) will be assigned to the applicant.
