The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has announced the recruitment of Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers for Government Secondary Schools under the School and Mass Education Department for 2024. This large-scale recruitment aims to fill 6,025 vacancies, with 1,988 of those positions reserved for women candidates.
According to the OSSC’s notification, the recruitment drive includes various teaching roles across different subjects, including:

TGT Science (CBZ): 880 posts

Hindi Teacher: 711 posts

Classical (Sanskrit) Teacher: 729 posts

Telugu Teacher: 6 posts

Urdu Teacher: 14 posts

Physical Education Teacher: 681 posts
The recruitment process will follow the guidelines established by the OSSC. Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of January 1, 2024, with age relaxations applicable to SC, ST, SEBC, women, PwD, and ex-servicemen, in accordance with government regulations.
