PM Awas Yojana: Modi Inaugurates 1.75 lakh Homes Built under PMAY in MP Today; Register Now

In midst of the corona crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated 1.75 lakh houses built in Madhya Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) on Saturday. Moreover, Modi also participated in the program through video conferencing and talked with some of the beneficiaries of the scheme.

In midst of the corona crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated 1.75 lakh houses built in Madhya Pradesh under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) on Saturday.

Moreover, Modi also participated in the program through video conferencing and talked with some of the beneficiaries of the scheme.

The Prime Minister on Friday said that this is an important step in achieving the goal of providing houses to the poor by 2022.

"This is another important step in achieving the target of giving a house to every family in the country by 2022. These houses built under PM Awas Yojana-Gramin are proof that the corona pandemic too could not stop the development works," PM Modi posted on Twitter.

The Government of India has launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in the year 2015 to provide houses at affordable prices to the urban citizens of the country. Till now millions of people have taken the advantage of PM Awas Yojana. 

Rs 4,600 cr will be transferred into the accounts of 20 Lakh farmers

MeanwhileChief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday said that Rs 4,600 cr will be transferred into the accounts of 20 lakh farmers under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY).

"On September 18, Rs 4600 crore will be sent to the bank accounts of 20 lakh farmers of the state at 12 o'clock under Fasal Bima Yojana", said Chouhan while addressing a public rally.

Follow the steps given below to apply for PM Awas Yojana

Visit the PM Housing Scheme website http://pmaymis.gov.in

- Select Benefit under other 2 components option in the drop-down menu of the Citizen Assessment section given at its home.

- As soon as this is done, a new page will open, in which Check Aadhaar / Virtual ID No. Existence will be detailed.
