PM Rojgar Mela 2022: Centre Provided Over Rs 3 Lakh Cr to MSME Sector, Union Ministers to Hand Over Appointment Letters

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the "Rozgar Mela" to give jobs to 10 lakh youth. He also claimed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, his government helped the MSME sector with more than Rs 3 lakh crore, preventing a crisis for over 1.5 crore jobs.

According to PM Modi, "The government is focusing on strengthening these sectors because manufacturing and tourism produce a lot of jobs."

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the Center will present appointment letters to 75,000 newly appointed employees at the "Rozgar Mela."

Despite the difficulties, he continued, "India has been attempting to protect itself from the global crisis with all of its might, new initiatives, and some risks. With your help, we have so far been able to save ourselves. In the past eight years, we have reduced the problems that caused barriers in our economy."

The PM MUDRA Yojana was also emphasized by the Prime Minister "Women make up over 70% of PM MUDRA Yojana beneficiaries. In recent years, 8 crore women have joined self-help groups that receive government funding."

Union Ministers To Hand Over Appointment Letters

Reportedly, approximately 20,000 people will receive appointment letters from about 50 Union ministries during the recruiting campaign at various locations across the nation.

While Jyotiraditya Scindia, the minister of civil aviation, is in Bhopal, and Anurag Thakur, the minister of information and broadcasting, is in Chandigarh, the minister of railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, will present employment offers in Jaipur.

Some candidates who are selected for numerous government posts under the "Rozgar Mela" will personally receive the letters at their specified locations. Appointment letters would also be distributed by email or postal service to appointees who are not present at the venue.

The new employees from all throughout the nation will work for 38 government departments and ministries.

"The appointees will be a part of the government in a variety of capacities, including Group A, Group B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted), and Group C. Central Armed Forces Personnel, Sub Inspectors, Constables, LDCs, Stenographers, PAs, Income Tax Inspectors, and MTSs are among the positions for which appointments are being made "PMO stated.

Ministries and departments hire employees under the mission mode either directly or through hiring organizations like the UPSC, SSC, and Railway Recruitment Board.

The statement said, "For expedited recruiting, selection processes have been simplified and made tech-enabled."
