PM to interact with Farmers on Developments in Agriculture Sector via Video Conferencing on 20th June 2018

In view o0f the recent strike by the ten states farmers for ten days and the unrest among the farmers. Inspite of the Government efforts to allure the farmers with their many schemes for the benefit of the farming community.

In view of the recent strike by the ten states farmers for ten days and the unrest among the farmers. Inspite of the Government efforts to allure the farmers with their many schemes for the benefit of the farming community.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojna, Soil Health Cards, Neem Coated Urea and the subsidy on the fertilizers and many such beneficial schemes for the benefit of the Farmers not only by the Central Government, the schemes are there by the State Governments also.

Continuing his drive to directly connect with the beneficiaries of his Government's pet schemes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said he will on 20 June speak to farmers on issues concerning them and the agriculture sector.

Beginning with an interaction over video call with some of the 4 crore women who got free cooking gas (LPG) connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Modi has interacted with beneficiaries of health scheme and start-up programme.

On Friday, he interacted with beneficiaries of the various Digital India efforts. During image of this interaction, Modi said he would be speaking to farmers on 20 June on developments and advancements in the agriculture sector.

In view of this unawareness about the Government schemes, the Krishi Jagran (Hindi) July 2018 issue is devoted fully on such schemes. Krishi Jagran is also promoting these schemes with the WhatsApp Groups also.
