PMJDY Beneficiaries Alert! Link Your Jan Dhan Account with Aadhaar Immediately or You will not Get These Benefits & Facilities

Here’s an important news for Jan Dhan account holders or Jan Dhan beneficiaries. If you have not yet linked Aadhaar to your account, then do it soon, otherwise you may have to bear a huge loss of up to Rs 1.30 lakhs. According to information, PMJDY beneficiaries are given Rupay debit card, in which Accident Insurance of Rs 1 lakh is provided, but if you do not link your account to Aadhaar card then you will not get this benefit. Due to which you will lose Rs. 1 lakh
Apart from this, you also get Accidental Death Insurance cover of Rs 30000 on this account. Which is available only after Aadhaar is linked to the bank account.
How to link Jan Dhan Account with Aadhaar
There are three ways to link your Jan Dhan Account with Aadhaar;
1. You can go to the bank and link the account with Aadhaar.
Carry a photo copy of Aadhaar card and your passbook.
2. There are many banks who link Aadhaar card through mobile message also.
State Bank of India Customers can use their registered mobile number , type UID<SPACE> Aadhaar number<SPACE> account number and send it to 567676. Your bank account will be linked to Aadhaar. Remember that if you have given different mobile numbers in bank and Aadhaar card then your account will not be linked
3. Apart from this you can also link your bank account with Aadhaar from your nearest ATM.
Required Documents for PMJDY
Aadhaar Card or Passport or Driving License or PAN Card, Voter Card, NREGA Job card, letter issued from Authority, with name, address and Aadhaar number, letter issued by the gazetted officer for opening the account.
PMJDY: Overdraft facility of Rs. 5000 is given
To take advantage of the facility of overdraft, it is necessary to have an Aadhaar card. Apart from this, PMJDY account should also be linked with Aadhar card. Under this scheme PM Modi's main objective was to open a bank account for every family in India so that they can get benefit of all government schemes. Under the PM Jan Dhan Yojana, you can also open an account of child below 10 years.
