Price of Domestic LPG Cylinder Increases By Rs 50 from Today; Check New Gas Cylinder Rates Here

Domestic LPG cylinders are now costing Rs 1,053 instead of Rs 1,003 in the nation's capital, Delhi.

LPG Cylinder Price in Delhi

Domestic LPG cylinders are now costing Rs 1,053 instead of Rs 1,003 in the nation's capital, Delhi. Domestic 5kg cylinder prices have gone up by Rs 18 each, whereas commercial 19kg cylinder costs have gone down by Rs 8.50.

In Delhi, the cost of domestic LPG (LPG) cylinders has increased in the past year from Rs. 834.50 to Rs. 1003. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG (LPG) cylinder recently went up on May 19, 2022, by Rs 4. The price per cylinder in Delhi earlier on May 7 was Rs 999.50. In comparison to the price of Rs 949.50 on March 22, 2022, the LPG cylinder increased in price by Rs 50 on May 7. The price of the cylinder was also increased by Rs 50 on March 22. Domestic LPG cylinder prices in Delhi were previously set at Rs 899.50 between October 2021 and February 2022.

Here are the updated LPG cylinder prices for domestic use in other major Indian cities. (non-subsidized prices of Indane in Metros - Rs /14.2 kg cylinder)

  • Delhi - Rs 1,053

  • Mumbai - Rs 1,052.50

  • Kolkata - Rs 1,079

  • Chennai - Rs 1068.50

Commercial cylinder gets cheaper

On the other hand, the cost of a commercial cylinder (LPG Commercial Cylinder Price) has decreased. The cost of the commercial 19 kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs 8.50. Even before this, on July 1, the oil companies significantly lowered the cost of commercial cylinders (LPG Commercial Cylinder Price) by Rs 198.

It was expected that the domestic gas cylinder will likewise become less expensive in the future. However, companies have recently stunned the common citizen by raising the price.  After this decision, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder in the capital Delhi has gone up to Rs 2021. Due to an additional decrease of Rs. 8.50, the price is now Rs. 2012,50.
