Progressive Farmers Across India Got Felicitated At Progressive Agri Leadership Summit 2021

Krishi Udyami Vikas Chamber in association with Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni and The Sikkim State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd organized Progressive Agri Leadership Summit 2021. In this summit over 43 awards were given under different categories.

These awards were given especially to recognize and motivate the efforts of various agriculture stakeholders in the northern states, who are working continuously and relentlessly for the achievement of the sustainable agriculture development.

The Krishi Udyami Krishak Ratan Puraskar will also be given to ‘Progressive farmers and villages’. India is an agricultural economy and its progress to a great extent depends on the adoption of better farm practices by farmers.  It is rightly said that the progressive farmers are the catalysts for the regeneration of rural areas. They are the self-help extension workers that play a vital role in the development of the whole community and to recognize such farmers, Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry felicitated them under various categories.

The different sub-categories under Progressive Farmers & Villages included Agripreneur of the year, Agripreneur of the Year, Hi- Tech Integrated farm, Beekeeper of the year, Modern Dairy Farm, Rising Fish farmer, Poultry farm of the year, Mushroom Grower of the year, Excellence Horticulture village.

Other major categories included Progressive states, Best Educational Organizations, Corporates from the agriculture and allied sectors, Farmer Producer Organizations, etc
