Progressive Farmers Share Success Stories at 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' at KVK-Hastinapur in Meerut

Krishi Jagran has once again successfully organized the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' powered by Dhanuka at KVK-Hastinapur in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh on March 13, 2024. With over 250 farmers in attendance, the event served as a platform for agricultural experts to share invaluable insights aimed at enhancing farmers' incomes, aligning with the organization’s mission.

The event commenced with Sanjay Tyagi, a progressive farmer, sharing his journey to success, and inspiring fellow farmers to work towards success. Agricultural experts graced the stage, each offering their expertise on various strategies to boost farmers' income through simple yet effective agricultural practices.

Experts Share Insights at 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav'

Dr Omvir Singh, Professor and Head at KVK Hastinapur, enlightened the audience on agricultural techniques conducive to income generation. Dr Naveen Chandra, Assistant Professor specializing in Plant Protection, shed light on disease and pest management.

Sarthak Maheshwari, Territory Manager at Mahindra Tractors, emphasized the significance of tractor maintenance and introduced innovative solutions aimed at enhancing farm mechanization. The event also witnessed insights from Rakesh Tiwari and Dr J K Arya, Assistant Professors specializing in Soil Science and Horticulture respectively, both from KVK Hastinapur, Meerut. Dr Sanjay Kumar, Associate Director in Agricultural Engineering, shared his expertise on modern agricultural practices to optimize productivity.

Furthermore, RK Dhuria, Subject Matter Expert from Dhanuka Agritech Limited, provided valuable inputs on crop protection and showcased Dhanuka products apt for the same. Dhanuka also exhibited their products at the event for the farmers.

The ‘MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav’ also saw the felicitation of 25 progressive farmers, whose exemplary achievements have significantly contributed to the agricultural sector. Ambu Tyagi, Malak Singh, and Prem Singh were among the recipients honored for their remarkable contributions to the industry.
