Railway Recruitment 2023: 1785 Job Posts Open! Check Eligibility Criteria & How to Apply

For the recruitment of apprentices within the jurisdiction of South Eastern Railways for the fiscal year 2022–2023, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has issued an online call for applications for 1758 positions.

Educational Qualification:

The applicant must have an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which the apprenticeship is to be conducted) issued by the NCVT/SCVT, as well as a matriculation certificate from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects).

Application Fee:

All applicants, with the exception of those who are SC/ST/PWD/women, must pay an application fee of Rs 100. The non-refundable application fee is Rs 100. When completing the online application form, the payment must be done using the "Payment Gateway" system.

Selection Process:

The merit list prepared (trade-wise) for each candidate who replies to the notification in their respective trades will be used for selection.

The prepared percentage of matriculation marks with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks will be on the merit list for each trade.

The percentage of matriculation will be calculated by adding up the candidates' marks across all subjects, not just one particular subject or group of subjects.

As of January 1, 2023, the candidates must be at least 15 years old and not more than 24.
