Rashtriya Bal Puruskar 2022: PM Felicitates Kids in the Field of Art, Sports, Bravery & others

Rashtriya Bal Puraskar: On January 24, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted virtually with the winners of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for the years 2021 and 2022. Smriti Zubin Irani, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development, was also present on the ocassion. Due to Covid 19, this award function was held virtually this year.

Using a block chain-driven technology developed by IIT Kanpur under the National Blockchain Project, PM Modi presented digital certificates to the 61 winners of the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021 and 2022. The digital certificate will be saved on the receivers' mobile devices in digital wallets.

Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022:

This year, the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022 was awarded to a total of 29 children from all around India for their excellent achievements in social service, athletics, innovation, bravery, art and culture, and academics.

The winners of the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022 are 15 boys and 14 girls from 21 states and union territories. The winners had travelled from their district headquarters with their parents and a concerned District Magistrate.
