Regional Agriculture Fair for Eastern Region Starts From 12 March 2022

Regional Agriculture Fair For Eastern Region -2022 with the theme "Entrepreneurship Development Through Monetization of Agricultural Waste" will be organized by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa.

Regional Agriculture Fair for Eastern Region

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, is hosting a grand Regional Agriculture Fair For Eastern Region -2022 from March 12 to 14, 2022, with the theme "Entrepreneurship Development Through Monetization of Agricultural Waste." 

Krishi Jagran Team will also be participating in the event.

Objectives of the Regional Agriculture Fair For Eastern Region  

  • To create opportunities for the good life in a relatively new location to promote fiscal activity 

  • To put agricultural waste to commercial use, therefore reducing environmental pressures.

  • Attracting various stakeholders for the creation of business ventures

  • To create vibrant villages to promote economic and social growth.

  • To encourage associated agricultural activities such as beekeeping, mushroom production, vermicomposting, and so on for social transformation.

  • To explore and improve the technical talents of the villagers so that there is no shortage of skilled and artistic workforce. 

  • To showcase agricultural innovations and farm machinery for lowering cultivation costs and managing natural resources.

  • To broaden horizons through the cooperation of agro-based micro, small, and medium - entrepreneurs (MSME) with government and non-governmental organizations.

  • To facilitate interaction and knowledge sharing between farmers and scientists on the most recent agricultural innovations through Seminar/Kisan Gosthi.

  • To demonstrate mushroom production and preservation to smallholder farmers to increase food and nutritional security.

  • Water conservation measures for increasing crop yield per drop, as well as the display of a water harvesting structure for groundwater recharging. 

  • To demonstrate alternative energy sources, such as solar trees, solar pumps, and a boat-mounted solar irrigation system.
