RRB ALP Technician 2019: CBT 3 Exam on May 10; Check Important Exam Instructions, Exam Pattern in Detail

RRB ALP Technician 2019: The Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) will conduct the aptitude test (AT) on Friday i.e. May 10, 2019. Eligible candidates who have been shortlisted based on RRB Computer-based test 2019 stage 2 will be eligible for the examination.  

RRB ALP Technician 2019: Important Exam Instructions 

According to the latest notification declared by RRB on the official website @ rrbcdg.gov.in, the aptitude test will include test battery comprising five tests. The time duration of the test is 71 minutes.  

For clearing the examination, it is important for the candidates to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 in each test. The ones who are selected will be recruited at the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). 

RRB ALP Technician 2019: Examination Pattern 

The examination pattern has been divided into different sections like Memory Test, Following Directions Test, Depth Perception Test, Test of Power of Observation and Perceptual Speed.   

Memory Test:  

Here, candidates will be tested by their capabilities on map, pattern etc. The candidates have to study and memorise the buildings and other structures for some time. Later on, they will be asked to indicate the location of these buildings on a test page.  

The essential thing to remember is to memorise parts, locations etc so that they can locate them on map. 

Following Directions Test:  

In this test, the candidates will be provided with a pattern of letters to look at. He/she will be asked questions on how certain directions will change in a particular pattern. Then, these directions will further have five types. 

Depth Perception Test:  

The candidates will be asked questions from a pile of bricks. Some bricks will be labelled as A, B, C, etc. In this test, the basic purpose is to count the number of bricks, touching bricks of the pile that has a letter mentioned it. All the bricks will be of the same size and shape. 

Test of Power of Observation: 

Here the efficiency of the candidates will be checked. In order to know how quickly a candidate can compare two numbers and decide whether or not they are the same. This test will be further divided into several parts. 

Perceptual Speed: 

It is considered as a speed test, so candidates should make sure that the question related to this section should be answered quickly. Candidates must have the capability to see the figures in order to match them.
