RRB Extends Last Date to Apply for Ministerial & Isolated Category Posts; Check Latest Updates

The RRB or Railway Recruitment Board has extended the last date to apply for the ministerial & isolated posts till 22^nd April 2019. It must be noted that there are a total of 1665 posts for the ministerial as well as isolated category.

The application procedure started on 8^th March 2019 for the posts of Junior Stenographer Hindi & English, Teacher, Translator, Cooks, Law Assistant, Welfare Inspector and few other posts. The tentative date for exam announced by the board is in the month of July.

According to RRB’s latest notice, it is said that candidates have made many mistakes while filling the qualification details in their application forms because of which they have decided to extend the deadline another 15 days.

The board said, “It has come to notice that the applicants are filling up their higher educational qualification as a result of which positions with lower educational qualification are not being shown in the post preferences online application format”.  

Hence the applicants are informed that every post notified against CEN-03/2019 has a specific minimum educational qualification as given clearly in Post Parameters Table enclosed as Annexure-`A’ in the CEN. Those who have applied are advised to check carefully the Post Parameters Table & fill up the given minimum educational qualification / combination of qualifications as clearly mentioned in the table.

Those who are eligible for the post can now register themselves for the recruitment till 22^nd April, 2019. Earlier the last date to apply was 7th April 2019. Candidates who have successfully registered will be allowed to pay the application fee via online mode till 28^th April, 2019. It must be noted that the last date to pay application fee through SBI challan or Post office challan is 26^th April, 2019 till 1:00 pm. After the payment of application fee, applicants will be allowed to complete the application process by 30^th April, 2019.
