The State Bank of India (SBI) holds an online exam across India to select applicants for the position of Junior Associate every year (Customer Support & Sales).

Clerk 2022 Notification Date

According to previous years’ trends, SBI Clerk Notification might be released before mid-April this year. However, no official statement has yet been made on the notification date and exam for this year.

SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) is responsible for all the client interactions and related operations. Candidates who are recruited as SBI clerks are designated as cashiers, depositors, and other posts.

SBI Clerk Exam 2022 is open to candidates who possess a bachelor's degree in any area. However, their age should be between 20 to 28 years. Those candidates who qualify for the SBI JA Pre Exam 2022 will be put through SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2022.

SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

  • Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply.

SBI Clerk Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age - 20 years

  • Maximum Age - 28 years

SBI Clerk 2022 Selection Process

Applicants will be required to appear for:

  1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination

  2. Phase - II: Main Examination

  3. Test of specified opted local language

SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern 2022

  • Total Number of Questions - 100

  • Total Marks - 100

  • Section - English language (30 Question of 30 Marks), Numerical Ability (35 Question of 35 Marks), and Reasoning Ability (35 Question of 35 Marks)

  • Time - Each section will be given 20 mins and total of 1 hour

  • Negative Marking - 1/4th mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer
