SBI Launches a New Toll-Free Number to Provide Better Banking Services

State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest lender, has added a new toll-free number for a variety of financial services in order to better serve its customers.

State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest lender, has added a new toll-free number for a variety of financial services in order to better serve its customers. Customers can perform necessary and fundamental banking activities from the comfort of their home or any other location by dialing this new contact center number, saving them the time and inconvenience of visiting a bank office or using an electronic medium.

SBI stated in a recent Tweet published on June 23, 2022, "Dial our new easy-to-remember number for banking help on the go! Call the SBI Contact Centre at 1800 1234."

Customers of SBI can conduct banking services such as account balance/last 5 transactions, ATM Card blocking & dispatch status, dispatch status of cheque book, TDS details & deposit interest certificate by e-mail, and request for a new ATM Card after blocking the previous one using this new toll-free number. SBI has stated on its website, "Please Call SBI's 24X7 helpline number i.e., 1800 1234 (toll-free), 1800 11 2211 (toll-free), 1800 425 3800 (toll-free), 1800 2100 (toll-free), or 080-26599990. Toll-free numbers can be reached from any landline or mobile phone in the country."

Aside from the above-mentioned new SBI customer care number, individuals can also call the following toll-free numbers: 1800 2100, 1800 11 2211, 1800 425 3800, and 080-26599990.

Customers can file complaints by calling any of the numbers listed on the SBI website. Customers of SBI can report unauthorized transactions by calling 1800 11 1109 (Toll Free), 94491 12211 (Mobile number, Toll Free), or 080 - 2659 9990. (Toll number). These toll-free numbers are available on all Indian landlines and mobile phones. According to SBI's website, "SBI now provides your Account Balance and Transaction details over the phone around the clock. There is also information on deposit and loan schemes, as well as services."

SBI Email ID

Customers who are dissatisfied with the phone call solutions to their complaints or who are tech-savvy and want to file a complaint right away should send an email to customercare@sbi.co.in or contactcentre@sbi.co.in. When a complaint or request is successfully registered, individuals will receive a ticket number through SMS or email.

SBI SMS Alert Number

Customers who want to send an email with their concerns can do so by typing "HELP" and sending it to "918108511111" Those who are dissatisfied with the bank's services can type "UNHAPPY" and fax it to 8008-20-20-20. According to the SBI website, "Send SMS ‘HELP’ to ‘918108511111’ to receive a full list of services as a response via SMS. In the event of a loss or theft, you can block the ATM Card associated with the registered account. To block an ATM card, text 'BLOCK XXXX' to 567676 from your registered mobile number (XXXX represents the last four digits of the card number)."
