Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan distributes electric tricycles to specially abled, supported by Syngenta India’s CSR initiative
Syngenta India, partnered with Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, launched a landmark CSR initiative in Madhya Pradesh, distributing 650 motorised tricycles to empower specially abled individuals through mobility and economic independence.
In a unique and first-of-its-kind CSR initiative, leading agro-innovation corporate - Syngenta India is sponsoring 650 motorised tricycles for specially abled individuals in Madhya Pradesh (MP). The first batch of these vehicles was handed over on Sunday by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026, an agriculture exhibition and conference at Raisen.
Addressing the gathering at the occasion, Shri Chouhan said, “The Government of India is committed to working on issues that are important to our farmers as well as our marginalised communities, including our Divyangjan (or specially abled). Empowering them with mobility is a critical step towards ensuring dignity, inclusion, and self-reliance. I compliment Syngenta India for supporting this noble initiative, as well as leading with many other farmer-oriented interventions, that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of many."
Shri Chouhan also highlighted his broader initiative aimed at enhancing mobility for Divyangjan across Madhya Pradesh, with a special focus on the Vidisha region, his parliamentary constituency. He emphasized that the distribution of motorised tricycles is not merely a mobility intervention, but a pathway to economic empowerment, enabling beneficiaries to use these vehicles as a means of livelihood, participate in local economic activities, and lead a life of dignity and self-reliance.

Speaking on the initiative, Vivek highlighted that sustainable agriculture goes beyond productivity, it is about creating equitable ecosystems where every individual can contribute meaningfully. “Through a combination of mobility support, skill development, and improved market access, Syngenta is committed to enabling long-term transformation at the grassroots, strengthening both community resilience and the future of Indian agriculture. “ Vivek added.
Syngenta for Madhya Pradesh & at Raisen Exhibition:
