Spice Board Recruitment 2023: The Spices Board of India recently has released a job notification to fill in research trainee positions through a walk-in examination. All eligible candidates will have to visit the Spices Board's official website to apply.

Plant Pathology: Essential: MSc Botany/Microbiology, MSc Ag Pathology/MSc Biochemistry

 

Desirable: Computer Proficiency.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Recording field observations, monitoring and maintenance of germplasm, etc.

  • Knowledge in computer applications, working knowledge in data analysis, interpretation of results and report preparation.

  • Working knowledge regarding computers and statistics.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit should not be more than 30 years.

Other Activities During the Tenure:

Agronomy and Soil Science Division: Helping the Scientists with recording data, handling GC/ HPLC/ Soil Analytical work, etc.

Plant Pathology Division: Monitoring field trials, recording observations, data collection and compilation, collection of samples (Soil/Plant), etc.

Application Fee:

There is no application fee for the above-said position.

Fellowship/ Monthly Salary:

Salary per month is nearly Rs. 21,000/- for Research trainee posts.

Mode of Selection:

The screening will be based on the qualifications of the candidate followed by a written examination.
