The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the admit cards for candidates in the Southern Region for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination Tier-I 2024. Aspirants can now download their hall tickets from the official SSC website at sscsr.nic.in. In addition to the Southern Region, the SSC has also issued admit cards for the Central, Western, Northwestern, and Northeast regions. However, candidates from the Eastern and Northern regions are still awaiting the release of their admit cards.

The SSC CGL Tier-I exam is scheduled to be conducted from September 9 to September 26, 2024, as a computer-based test at various centres across the country. This recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 vacancies in various government departments and ministries. The examination will assess candidates on four key topics: English comprehension, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and general intelligence and reasoning. Each section will contain 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), making a total of 100 questions. All sections, except for English comprehension, will be available in both Hindi and English.

The admit card will provide essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre, city, and reporting time, along with guidelines for the exam. Candidates are advised to carefully check the information and carry a valid photo ID that matches the Date of Birth mentioned on the admit card. If discrepancies arise, an additional document certifying the correct Date of Birth must be presented at the exam centre.

Steps to Download SSC CGL Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official SSC website for the Southern Region: sscsr.gov.in

  2. Click on the admit card link for CGL Tier-I 2024.

  3. Enter your login credentials.

  4. View, save, and download your admit card for future reference.

It is crucial for all candidates to bring their admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination centre to avoid any last-minute issues.
