SSC GD Constable Result 2018 to be Declared on This Confirmed Date, Check for More Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will shortly declare the result of GD Constable 2018 on its official website i.e. ssc.nic.in. According to sources, the result will be announced on 31st May 2019. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be appointed in CAPFs, NIA, SSF & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Applicants are advised to keep a track on the official website for all latest updates regarding the result.

SSC Constables (GD) 2018-19 CBT examination was held from 11th February to 11th March 2019. Staff Selection Commission will fill around 54,953 vacancies through this recruitment drive in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR). 

Steps to Download SSC GD 2018-19 Results

By following these simple steps, candidates can easily download their result:

Step 1 – Go to the official website of SSC - ssc.nic.in.

Step 2 - Click on SSC GD Constable Result link.

Step 3 – Fill in the required credentials & click on the submit button.

Step 4 - The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5 – Now download it and take a printout for future reference.

All those who qualify in the SSC Constable CBE 2018 will be called for - PET (Physical Efficiency Test) and PST (Physical Standard Test) which will be held at different exam centres decided by the CAPFs. Based on the performance in the PET or PST, applicants will be called for DME (Detailed Medical Examination). The reason of medical examination is to make sure that medically fit candidates are taken in the CAPFs.

A total of 52, 20,335 candidates had applied for 58,373 posts. Out of them 30, 41,284 gave the computer based examination or CBE. The CBE was conducted in 54 shifts at 297 centres across the country.

The Staff Selection Commission is an organisation under the Government of India that recruits employees for various posts in different departments as well as ministries. The SSC headquarter is in New Delhi and every year lakhs of people appear in examinations conducted by the commission.
