State Govt to promote the sale of organic vegetables through online market

The state govt will take initiatives to promote the sale of organic vegetables through online and new media, said Finance Minister Dr T M Thomas Issac. He was speaking after inaugurating the seed sowing of organic vegetable cultivation held at Mararikkulam Panchayat of Alappuzha district.

The state govt will take initiatives to promote the sale of organic vegetables through online and new media, said Finance Minister Dr T M Thomas Issac. He was speaking after inaugurating the seed sowing of organic vegetable cultivation held at Mararikkulam Panchayat of Alappuzha district.

The minister said that the online market is equally beneficial for both consumers and farmers. He also inaugurated the website developed for the online marketing of organic vegetables. This online venture was a joint initiative of Mararikkulam panchayat and Kanjikkuzhi service cooperative bank in association with a private firm in Bangluru.
