Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2019 Released; Direct Link to Check Your Scores Here

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations has finally declared the TN HSC 12th result 2019 today, 19^th April. Last year, the Class 12 results were announced on 16^th of May.  Students who had appeared for the HSC Class 12 exams can check their scores on the official website of the Tamil board i.e. tnresults.nic.in - dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in.

How to check the Tamil Nadu HSC Class 12 results 2019:

Students can easily check the results by following the steps given below:

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the Tamil Nadu Board — tnresults.nic.in

Step 2 - Click on 'TN HSC Class 12 results' link

Step 3 - Now fill in all required details properly. Don’t make any mistake while entering the details.

Step 4 – TN HSC results will appear on your screen

Step 5 – Lastly, download the results and take a printout for future use.

Apart from the official websites, students can also view their TN HSC results at some private websites like - examresults.net

According to sources, the Tamil Nadu board is also expected to announce the SSLC or Class 10 marks on 29^th April.

In 2019, around 8 lakh students have appeared for the HSC exams that were held from 1 March to 19 March by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations.

As per the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, to qualify HSC exams, students need to score at least 30 out of 150 marks in the theory paper and 40 out of 50 marks in the practical exams.

The state education board also said that an instant exam will be held for students who fail to obtain the minimum passing marks. This exam will be held in between 3 June to 10 June.

Last year, 9,82,097 students gave the TN HSC Class 12 exams. The pass percentage for the Tamil Nadu Education's Class 12 exams was 91.1 % with 87.7 % boys and 94.1 % girls having passed.
