Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Receives Three National Awards
The meeting of the Vice-Chancellors of the Agricultural Research Council of India and the State Agricultural Universities was held in Delhi in which the Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University received three national awards, including the Green Campus Award, from Indian Council of Agricultural Research DG, Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra.

Award for Researching Various Data
The Green and Purity Campus competition was announced in October 2020 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research under the National Higher Education Program. The award is given for researching various data including waste recycling, alternative energy for electricity needs, use of environmentally friendly materials, lessons, research projects.
In this, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University students have won two prizes in the All India Level Competitive Examination for Masters Students under the Departments of Horticulture, Forestry, and Agricultural Engineering respectively.
Vice-Chancellor Receives Three Awards
The three awards were received by Vice-Chancellor at the meeting. The university has won the 'Green and Clean Campus Award', the 'PG Fellowship Award for Horticulture & Forestry, and the 'PG Fellowship in Agricultural Engineering'.
ICAR Establishes Green & Clean Campus Award
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has launched for the first time the ‘Green and Clean Campus Award’ for colleges under the State Agricultural Universities and the educational institutions under its supervision.
The ‘Green and Clean Campus Award’ is a place where eco-friendly practices are followed and taught to promote a sustainable environment on campus. The College of Agriculture and Research, University College, has won the Second Prize of Rs. 8 lakh cash.
