A video of Sam Pepper, an Instagram content creator, who travels the globe and documents the unusual things he sees, is doing rounds on the internet. In his recent Instagram post, he described a unique salad called a 'live jumping shrimp salad' that he had in Thailand. The dish is presented with a live shrimp in it, as the name implies.

"This one is really out there. But when in Thailand! Live shrimp salad!", the latter captioned his post.

As the video begins, a person is seen assembling the salad by adding components like onions, lime juice, salt, and chilli to a container. He then adds some shrimp to the meal by scooping them out of a water-filled tank.

The vlogger goes on to try the dish while the shrimps can be seen jumping in the container. As he samples the food, the latter also talks about how he was bitten by the shrimps.

The clip was posted by Pepper last month from his Insta handle, and has received nearly 6.4 million views since then, with the figures only rising with every passing day. The video has also garnered numerous likes and comments.

"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should", a user said, while another wrote, "What's the need for them to be alive?"

One Instagram user said, "So what's the verdict?! Is it good? I want to know cause I'd try it".
