Today’s Weather: These States Likely to Receive Heavy Rainfall in Next 24 Hours

Isolated heavy rainfall with moderate thunderstorm & lightning is likely over south Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 31st October to 1st November, 2020.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its morning bulletin said that a cyclonic circulation lies over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal & adjoining North Andaman Sea between 1.5 & 4.5 km above mean sea level.  Under the influence of the above system, isolated heavy rainfall with moderate thunderstorm & lightning is likely over south Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 31st October to 1st November, 2020.

These Places in India likely to Get Heavy Shower in next 24 Hours

Isolated to scattered rainfall with moderate thunderstorm & lightning very likely over Kerala & Mahe and Tamilnadu & Puducherry during next 24 hours.

Rainfall activity is likely to increase over south Peninsula from 01st November, 2020. Scattered rainfall, moderate thunderstorm & lightning with isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu and Kerala during 01st-03rd November, 2020.

These States will have Dry weather

Generally dry weather very likely over most parts of Northwest, West, Central and East India during next 5 days.

Maximum & Minimum Temperature in India

Maximum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura while Minimum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya and Rayalseema; at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh.
