Udyam Registration for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises; Direct Link to Register Yourself

Government is seeking registration from July 1 for micro, small and medium scale industries. Those who wish to start a project should apply on the basis of self-attested documents at the Online Rise Registration Portal (www.udyamregistration.gov.in ).

Upon completing the registration process, you will get a registration form number and a registration certificate. The registration form available on the portal is free of charge. The same project should not take more than one registration.

Classification of enterprises — An enterprise shall be classified as a micro, small or medium enterprise based on the following criteria, namely: -

Micro venture means investment in plant, machinery and equipment not exceeding Rs 1 crore and annual turnover not exceeding Rs 5 crore.

Small enterprise means investment in plant and machinery equipment not exceeding Rs 10 crore and turnover not exceeding Rs 50 crore.

Medium enterprise means investment in plant, machinery and equipment not exceeding Rs 50 crore and turnover not exceeding Rs 250 crore.

Those who are currently taking Entrepreneurs Memorandum (EM2) and Udyog Aadhaar must get a new registration. However, their current registration will be valid until 31st March 2021.

Registration with any other institution or with the Ministry of MSME, however, requires registration. Udayam registration is based on the new definition of new and existing ones.

If one of the joint criteria differs, then the category will change. However, the firm can only move to a higher category. Cannot fall into the low category. The notification states that the value of the turnover will be calculated only by excluding the value of the exporting firms. MSME The Development Institute and the District Industrial Centers will act as a single-window to facilitate the registration process.

Becoming a micro, small or medium enterprise-

  1. Any person who intends to establish a micro, small or medium enterprise may file a document, papers, certificates or proof of need with a self-declaration based on the Udyam Registration Portal.
  2. Click on Registration, an Enterprise
  3. An e-certificate, namely ―Udyam Registration Certificate shall be issued upon completion of the registration process.

The Central Government, after obtaining the recommendations of the Advisory Committee, hereby sets out the criteria for classifying the micro, small and medium enterprises and specifies the form and procedure for filing the memorandum with effect from the 1st day of July, 2020,

Registration process —

  1. The form for registration shall be provided in the Udyam Registration Portal.
  2. Filing Udyam Registration for There Will Be No Fee.
  3. Udyam Registration for Aadhaar number shall be required.
  4. The Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) of the Aadhaar number shall be the case of a proprietorship firm, the managing partner of the case and the karta in the case.
  5. In the case of a Company or a Limited Liability Partnership or a Cooperative Society or a Trust or a Trust, the Organization or its Authorized Signatory shall provide its GSTIN and PAN along with its Aadhaar number.
  6. In case an enterprise is duly registered as an Udyam with a PAN, any deficiency information for the previous years when the PAN shall be filled up is a self-declaration basis.
  7. No enterprise shall file more than one Udyam Registration: Provided that any number of activities, including manufacturing or service or both, may be specified or added in one Udyam Registration.
  8. Whoever intentionally suppresses or attempts to suppress the self-reported facts and figures in the Udyam Registration or updating process shall be liable to such penalty as specified in section 27 of the Act. 7.

Registration of Existing Enterprises-

  1. All existing enterprises registered under EM-Part-II or UAM shall be registered on the Udyam Registration Portal on or after 1st day of July 2020.
  2. This notification, with all enterprises registered until 30th June 2020, shall be re-classified.
  3. The existing enterprises registered prior to 30th June 2020, shall continue to be valid only for a period of 31stday of March 2021.

Facilitation and grievance redressal of enterprises-

  1. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, including the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, which operate the Champions Control Rooms, facilitate the registration process and further handholding of the micro and small. and medium enterprises in all possible ways.
