UGC Declares 20 Fake Universities In India: Delhi Ranks on Top Followed By Uttar Pradesh

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has identified 20 universities in India as "fraudulent" and unauthorized to confer degrees to students. The UGC's aim is to protect students from enrolling in unaccredited and deceitful institutions. Among these universities, eight are located in Delhi.

Students and parents are advised to check the accreditation status of universities before enrolling to avoid potential issues. The UGC has found that these universities are violating the UGC Act by granting degrees without authority, and any degrees obtained from them will not be recognized for further education or job opportunities.
