UGC NET Admit Card 2024 Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit cards for the UGC NET 2024 exam. Candidates who have registered can now download their admit cards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled for June 18 and will be conducted in two shifts. The morning shift, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will cover 42 subjects, while the afternoon shift, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, will cover 41 subjects. The city slip, which indicates the exam location, will be released 10 days before the exam date.
The exam comprises two papers, both consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total duration of the exam is three hours. Paper 1 includes 50 questions, while Paper 2 includes 100 questions, making a total of 150 questions. Notably, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

To obtain their admit card, candidates must log in to the official website using their application numbers and date of birth. The steps to download the admit card are as follows:

Click on the admit card link available on the homepage.

Enter your application number and password.

Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Download and print the admit card for future use.
Exam Day Requirements
Candidates are required to bring the following to the exam hall:

A valid government-issued photo ID

Two passport-size photographs (matching the one uploaded during registration)
In a significant change, the NTA will now conduct the UGC NET 2024 exam for all 83 subjects on a single day, a departure from the previous practice of holding exams over multiple days. Since December 2018, the UGC NET exam has been conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. The exam is held twice a year, in June and December.
The UGC NET exam determines the eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Assistant Professorship based on the aggregate performance in both papers. Candidates who qualify only for the Assistant Professorship are not eligible for the JRF.
The recruitment of Assistant Professors is subject to the rules and regulations of the respective universities, colleges, or state governments.
