Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Flags Off MFOI VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra on Day 1 of Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2023

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highway Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday, December 6, flagged off the road journey of Bharat Kisan Yatra after attending a session at Millionaire Farmer of India Awards.

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highway Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday, December 6, attended the last session of the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, organised by Krishi Jagran, a leading agri media house. 

Before leaving, the Union Minister also flagged off the road journey of MFOI VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra. "Farmers should think about reducing the expenditure per acre to reap the rightful price of their crop," Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said. 

MFOI VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra 2023-24

'MFOI Kisan Bharat Yatra 2023-24' envisions the idea of ​​smart villages changing the rural scenario. MFOI Kisan Bharat Yatra aims to travel across the country from December 2023 to November 2024, reaching out to more than 1 lakh farmers.

This journey will cover 25 states, 4520 locations, across the country. Over 1 crore farmers will connect with tKrishi Jagran team during a 1000-day journey, 1 lakh millionaire farmers will also join in.

The Founder and editor-in-chief of Krishi Jagran, MC Dominic, who himself is the son of a farmer, said, "What does every farmer aspire to be? A millionaire, yes, that is important for the farming community." Based on this mindset, he envisioned to celebrate the victories of farmers. And, hence, he organised the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards 2023.
