Bangladesh draws medical students who want to remain in South Asia even though it is not a popular study abroad location for Indian students. According to information from the Indian government, there would be close to 9,308 Indian students studying in Bangladesh in 2022.

Bangladesh MBBS programs: Duration of MBBS

The FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) was taken by 922 of the 9000 Indian students, and 370 of them passed the exam in 2021.

In Bangladesh, the five-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program includes a one-year internship. In order to be eligible to get their degree diploma, all medical students must successfully complete their internship year.

Bangladesh MBBS programs: NEET Scores

Candidates must first select an institution before completing the application for that specific university in order to be guaranteed a spot in any of the Bangladeshi institutions' MBBS programs. Applicants should be aware that the NEET score is a requirement for eligibility.

Students can apply for a study visa by completing the required government forms and attaching the required papers, including a copy of their passport, proof of their education and identity, and the conditional offer letter from the university they have chosen.

Bangladesh MBBS programs: MBBS Fees

The cost of the full-time MBBS program's courses, which typically includes hostel fees, ranges from Rs 30 lakh to Rs 40 lakh for the entire degree.

Bangladesh MBBS programs: Reputed colleges

In Bangladesh, there are several well-known medical schools. The Institute of Applied Health Sciences (IAHS), Bangladesh Medical College (BMSRI), Community Based Medical College Bangladesh (Cbmcb), Eastern Medical College Comilla, Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College, Kumudini Womens Medical College, Prime Medical College, Rangpur Community Medical College, Tairunnessa Memorial Medical College and Hospital, and others are a few of the colleges from which the majority of Indian students have passed the FMGE exam.
