The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Commission i.e. upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

About UPSC ESE

Indian Engineering Services (IES)is also known as Engineering Services Examination (ESE). Indian Engineering Services is considered the most competitive and respected job for aspirants selected as engineers under the various ministries and departments of Govt. of India. The government of India assigns the designated IES engineers to work in Group A departments where they oversee technical and management duties. Every year, the UPSC holds the ESE exam to select engineers for the following 4(Four) engineering branches:

  • IES Civil Engineering

  • IES Mechanical Engineering

  • ESE Electrical Engineering

  • ESE Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

  • Visit the official website of upsconline.nic.in

  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ option. Create a one-time profile.

  • Log in and go to apply link for ESE Prelims 2023.

  • Fill up the required details in application form.

  • Upload the required documents and submit the application form.

  • Pay the application fee.

  • Candidates can save the application form for future use.
