UPSC ESE Recruitment 2023: Prelims Results are Out! Know How to Download Scorecard

The Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2023 results were announced today by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Applicants can see the results through upsc.gov.in, the UPSC's official website.

As soon as the entire process of the ESE finishes, candidates will be informed about the cut-off marks

The Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2023 results were announced today by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Applicants can see the results through upsc.gov.in, the UPSC's official website.

The test took place on February 19. The list contains candidates who have qualified to take the UPSC Engineering Services (Main) test. On June 25, the primary exam will be administered.

How to check preliminary results for UPSC ESE 2023:

Step 1: visit upsc.gov.in, the official website.

Step 2: Open the Engineering Service Exam link.

Step 3: Check your roll number and view the result.

Step 4: Download your result and save it for later use.

The Mains admit cards will be available for downloading, nearly three weeks before the examination. “The candidates who have qualified are advised to look at the rules of the Engineering Services Examination 2023 as has been issued by the Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communications,” was specified by the notice.

As soon as the entire process of the ESE finishes, candidates will be informed about the cut-off marks, after tallying the marks scored by the candidates. There shall be no requests entertained, pertaining to the change of centre/ discipline.

About the UPSC ESE 2023 Examination:

Indian Engineering Services and Engineering Services Examination are other names for the IES exam (ESE). For candidates chosen as engineers under the many ministries and departments of the Indian government, Indian Engineering Services is regarded as the most competitive and prestigious position. The Government of India assigns the appointed UPSC ESE engineers to work in Group A departments to oversee technical and administrative duties. The ESE exam is conducted by UPSC every year to recruit engineers in 4 engineering branches which are:

  1. IES Civil Engineering

  2. IES Mechanical Engineering

  3. ESE Electrical Engineering

  4. ESE Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

The selection process for the IES exam comprises three stages, as given below:

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

Stage 2: Mains Examination

Stage 3: Interview
