UPSC Prelims 2020: Delhi Metro services to begin at 6 am Tomorrow; Read Important Guidelines for Prelims

To facilitate students for the UPSC examinations, DMRC (Delhi Metro services) has recently announced that the metro services will begin at 6 AM from terminal stations of all lines on 4th October.

To facilitate students for the UPSC examinations, DMRC (Delhi Metro services) has recently announced that the metro services will begin at 6 AM from terminal stations of all lines on 4th October. Moreover, DMRC took to Twitter to inform all the UPSC aspirants to ease transportation to exam center amid Corona pandemic.

Important Guidelines for UPSC Prelims 2020:

1. Candidates should wear masks on the exam day. The UPSC has said that candidates without mask or face cover will not be allowed entry into the exam venue.

2. Candidates also need to bring their own sanitizers to the venue.

3. The Commission has uploaded e admit cards of which the candidates are advised to take out a print out. The e-admit cards must be preserved by the aspirants in case of further communication with the Commission is required later. In the notice, it clearly stated that No paper Admit Card has been released.

4. The candidates are also required to bring a photo ID card to the exam centre along with the printed admit card to gain entry inside. 

5. The candidates must reach the exam centre at 9:20 am that is 10 minutes prior to the exam begins a d in the evening shift they must reach at 2:20 pm.

6. The candidates would only be allowed to carry a black ballpoint pen with them. Only that could be used to fill in the OMR answer sheets.  

7. Candidates have to follow COVID-19 norms of social distancing as well as personal hygiene' inside the examination halls/rooms as well as in the premises of the venue, the notice read.
