The Uttarakhand government has presented an ambitious budget of Rs 89,230 crore for the holistic development of the state. This budget marks a significant stride towards providing Uttarakhand with a distinctive global identity, focusing on various sectors including agriculture, education, healthcare, women empowerment, tourism, youth upliftment, and support for the elderly.

Premchand Aggarwal, the State Finance Minister, emphasized the budget's focus towards the welfare of farmers, the underprivileged, youth, and women. He highlighted the comprehensive approach adopted to address the state's diverse needs, stating, "This is an inclusive budget for all-round development of the state."

The introduction of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) from the sacred land of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand symbolizes a commitment to equality and unity. This significant legislation not only upholds the essence of maternal power but also aligns with Prime Minister Modi's vision of Uttarakhand leading the 21st century.

The Finance Minister expressed gratitude towards all stakeholders for their unwavering support. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly, the UCC drafting committee, and the people of Devbhoomi in shaping the state's journey towards progress and global recognition.

As Uttarakhand strides confidently into its 24th year, the budgetary allocations and legislative initiatives stand as a testament to the state's resilience and determination. With a renewed focus on inclusivity, development, and unity, Uttarakhand is poised to carve out a prominent space on the global stage, honouring the sacrifices of its martyrs and fulfilling the dreams of its citizens.
