Vetiver Is a Divine Grass That Has Come To Save the World, Says First World Community's Dr CK Ashok at Seventh International Conference on Vetiver

On the second day of the Seventh International Conference on Vetiver (ICV-7) happening in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the Founder of an NGO, First World Community, Dr CK Ashok, who has played an integral role in bringing out the Agriculture World magazine’s special edition at this global platform, addressed the audience, saying -- “In Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says, I am the fragrance of the soil, I am the light of brilliance of this light, and the sound of the space and the life of all living beings in this world.”

Similarly, he praised the vetiver grass, saying, “Vetiver is a divine grass that has come to save the world through its fiber remediation,” among other properties.

Given that the Krishi Jagran’s Agriculture World magazine special edition for June was launched during the event, Dr Ashok said, “Let us all come and create awareness about vetiver across the world and celebrate the wonder grass, the miraculous grass.”

Having known about the Vetiver festival, Dr Ashok has played a significant role in bringing the Agriculture World magazine to the international event happening in Thailand. He also thanked the Founder of Vetiver Network International Dr Jim Smyle, and Richard Grimshaw, OBE – Founder among other leaders who are doing the divine duty.
