This week in California, WasteFuel Agriculture was launched at World Ag Expo. It is an initiative to turn agricultural waste into Green fuel. The Green Fuel is believed to turn farm waste into fuels with low-carbon emissions, renewable natural gas, and bio-methanol that can be used in both marine and land transports.

A large number of greenhouse gases emits from agriculture. WasteFuel agriculture aims to reduce about 90% of this emission.

It claims that the green fuel, which they are going to produce from the waste coming from the agricultural sector, is going to leave a very low emission footprint on the environment. It is also going to benefit farmers greatly by providing a way of sustainable waste management. Moreover, it is going to be more cost-effective, easier, and much safer to practice than their regular waste management practices

Trevor Neilson, the Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of WasteFuel said: “At WasteFuel, we believe there is no such thing as waste, there is just potential fuel. Wastefuel Agriculture offers a solution to the growing problem of farm waste that can help ensure the environment’s future. We’re pleased to be launching in the agricultural sector and look forward to working with farmers to reduce waste and emissions.”

The organization already got many investors such as Maersk, NetJets, PrimeInfrastructure, and i(x)Netzero to invest in the company. The mission to reduce carbon and greenhouse gasses has from agricultural waste has already begun.
