Weather in India during the last 24 hours
Talking about weather in India during the last 24 hours - There has been scattered light to moderate rainfall over southern coastal Tamil Nadu. Isolated light showers were also witnessed in Northern parts of the country mainly in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh & National Capital. The minimums have increased by 2-3 degrees in parts of Haryana, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi & NCR and North Rajasthan. However the Delhi pollution level has increased slightly on Tuesday (26 November 2019). Pollution levels in Delhi-NCR increased marginally because of slowdown of surface winds. According to System of Air Quality & Weather Forecasting & Research (SAFAR), the overall AQI of Delhi was recorded in 'poor' category.
Now talking about weather activity in the next 24 hours - there could be light to moderate rainfall and snowfall with 1 or 2 heavy spells over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand. Moreover hailstorm activities are also likely at isolated pockets of Uttarakhand & Himachal Pradesh.
Also there will be scattered rainfall in Delhi and NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Isolated light hailstorm is also possible in these areas. However experts said that pollution in Delhi -NCR can increase further & is likely to settle in the poor to a very poor category.
Coming towards North East India here East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh & Nagaland are going to experience light rainfall activity today. Dense fog is also likely over some parts of Assam, Meghalaya and Odisha on Wednesday and Thursday morning.
In Southern part of India, scattered light to moderate rainfall is likely over coastal Tamil Nadu.
