Weather Alert! These States in India Likely to Get Heavy Rain during Next 5 Days

Many states in India are likely to receive heavy rainfall for the next few days. IMD has issued weather alert for all these states.

Latest weather report: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reports in its morning bulletin said that the Northeast Monsoon rains are likely to commence over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining areas of Karnataka and Kerala around 28th October, 2020.

Moreover, reports says that the Southwest Monsoon has further withdrawn from some more parts of Gangetic West Bengal; most parts of Jharkhand; some parts of Odisha; remaining parts of Chhattisgarh; some parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; entire Vidarbha; remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh; some parts of Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra & Konkan on today, the 26th October, 2020.

With likely setting in of north-easterly winds in the lower tropospheric levels over Bay of Bengal and extreme south peninsular India, the southwest monsoon is likely to withdraw from entire country around 28th October, 2020.

These States are Likely to Get Heavy Rain

Under the influence of these systems, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls very likely over Southern states especially Kerala and Tamilnadu during next 5 days.

Maximum & Minimum Temperature in India

Maximum temperatures are appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh and West Uttar Pradesh; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C)  while minimum temperatures are appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Bihar and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura.
