Weather Forecast! These States Likely to Get Heavy Shower from 30th May; No Heat Wave Conditions till 2nd June

Under the influence of a current Western Disturbance and an east-west trough in lower tropospheric levels, scattered to fairly widespread rain/thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, hail & squall at isolated places is likely to continue over Western Himalaya Region & adjoining plains during next 2 days and reduce significantly thereafter, says the Indian Meteorological Department reports in its morning bulletin. Moreover, no heatwave condition likely to develop over any parts of the country from 30th May to 2nd June.

The Southwest Monsoon advanced into some parts of southwest and the southeast Arabian Sea and some more parts of Maldives-Comorin area. Conditions are becoming favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of south Arabian Sea, Maldives-Comorin area, southwest and southeast Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours.

As per yesterday’s reports, rain/thundershowers observed at most places over Uttarakhand and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi; at many places over Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 

Maximum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Telangana and South Interior Karnataka; at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands while minimum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over West Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalseema.
