Weather Forecast: These States will Receive More Rainfall in the Weekend While Other Regions will Remain Hot
A Western Disturbance or WD is visible over Jammu & Kashmir and its induced cyclonic movement is over Northern part of Rajasthan as well as neighboring states of Haryana and Punjab. Hence it is expected that rain & thundershower activity may increase over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. Snowfall is also likely over the upper reaches.

Hence it is expected that rain & thundershower activity may increase over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu & Kashmir. Snowfall is also likely over the upper reaches.
Meanwhile, scattered rainfall & thundershower is likely to continue over Punjab and isolated rains will be seen in Rajasthan and Haryana. Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh may experience some thundery activity or light showers at one or two places but probability are less.
Now coming towards Eastern part of the country, a cyclonic circulation can be seen over Sikkim and West Bengal. In addition, moist southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will increase moisture over the entire region. Besides, a furrow is also extending from the Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to South India across Odisha. The amalgamation of these systems will bring along light to moderate rainfall over Northeast India & Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Isolated rain activity will go on over East Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal & Coastal parts of Odisha. The weather in East Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand will remain arid with a partly cloudy sky.
On the other hand, climate over Central India will stay dry and hot. The continuing rains over Odisha will end now paving way for above normal temperatures. Heat wave is expected to continue at some places over Vidarbha. Moreover, the temperature in Chhattisgarh, South Madhya Pradesh and Central Maharashtra will be above normal by 2-3 degree Celsius.
Coming towards Southern part of India, a trough is extending through Telangana, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka. So, rains and thundershower will continue over Kerala, interior Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka that includes Bengaluru and at few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Telangana and North Interior Karnataka will however remain dry and hot.
Maharashtra, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Odisha will have maximum temperatures of 45°C or even more. Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will experience maximum temperatures of 40°C and above. The air quality will be poor or very poor all over the country, especially in Delhi.
